University of Hertfordshire celebrates 2019 graduates’ achievements with ceremonies at St Albans Cathedral

The 18 Graduation Ceremonies will take place at St Albans Cathedral, with a reception afterwards at the Alban Arena. The events mark the completion of many students’ courses of study and are a collective celebration of their hard work and achievements.

As well as receiving its graduates, the University will also award Honorary Degrees to pillars of the community for their outstanding contribution to academic disciplines, charity, professions or public service.

The awards will be presented by Lord Salisbury, Chancellor; Professor Quintin McKellar, Vice-Chancellor; Professor Ian Campbell, Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Dr Lynn Drummond, Chairman of the Board of Governors.

“Our Graduation Ceremonies are a highlight of the academic calendar for students and staff alike, as we have the opportunity to celebrate the dedication, hard work and well-deserved achievements of our students. With over 96% of our students employed or in further study within the first six months of graduation, we hope that our 2019 graduates go on to enjoy great success in the next stage of their lives. We wish them all the very best and look forward to keeping in touch as their careers develop and flourish.”
