In a landmark event, the University of Hertfordshire and PSB Academy – a leading private education institution based in Singapore - has hosted its first graduation ceremony.

A significant milestone in the collaboration between the two institutions, the event celebrated the achievements of the inaugural cohort of graduates, who successfully completed the Supported Distance Learning business program offered through this unique partnership.

In the glitzy ceremony at the Atrium Ball Room in Park Royal Collection Marina Bay, Singapore, 42 students graduated from the BA (Hons) Business Administration (Supported Distance Learning), seven students graduated from BEng in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence and one student from Raffles College in Indonesia graduated from Graphic Design. All the courses were delivered and managed by the relevant schools at the University of Hertfordshire.

Professor Damian Ward, Dean of the Hertfordshire Business School at the University of Hertfordshire - who travelled from the UK to represent the institution at the graduation – said:

“This graduation marks the beginning of a promising journey for these graduates, as they step into the professional arena with the skills and knowledge necessary to thrive in a dynamic, globalised economy. PSB Academy and the University of Hertfordshire look forward to continuing their partnership, shaping the future of higher education in Singapore and beyond.”

Local programme manager for PSB Academy, Dr Gomathy Shankari Thyagarajan, said:

“We are immensely proud to celebrate the achievements of our PSB/UH graduates. This milestone reflects their hard work, dedication, and the success of our collaborative partnership with the University of Hertfordshire.”
