Santander Universities UK

The University of Hertfordshire has been a partner of Santander Universities UK since 2012 and their support has totalled over £1 million in that time. Santander Universities UK focuses on supporting students through Education, Employment and Entrepreneurship. Over the years, students have benefitted from an extensive range of opportunities including scholarships, Enterprise Fund grants, Study Abroad grants, Formula Student support and the long-running internship programme. The support brings clear benefits to the students and directly enhances their university experience and employment outcomes.

Our students are given the opportunity to be involved in a range of initiatives through the partnership. These include the national Emerging Entrepreneurs competition, and the Women in Engineering programme, which supports leading female engineers from the School of Engineering and Computer Science.
