• A dedicated member of staff within the Student Success team who you can email or phone for guidance and support.
• Access to an advisor within the Wellbeing team who can discuss any support or adjustments you may need for your studies.
• A tailored newsletter with opportunities, events and support available to you as a Student Success student.
• Access to coaching to support you with motivation and confidence for your studies.

We can support you with additional costs so that you can focus on your studies.

• A Young Adult Carers bursary worth £500 per year for up to three years of undergraduate study (subject to eligibility checks). View the Young Adult Carers bursary Terms and Conditions. To begin the application process for this bursary please email our inbox at studentsuccess@herts.ac.uk.
• Assistance with the provision or purchase of a laptop to support your studies.
• Access to the Student Opportunity Fund, a grant that supports students to have experiences that will benefit their studies or future careers, but which they cannot afford to pay for themselves.
• Short term financial assistance to support with living and study costs (for example food vouchers, travel or equipment related to your course).
• Expert advice from our Student Funding and Financial Support Team on managing your finances, including support in accessing other sources of funding such as the Adult Dependents Grant.
• Access to the University's financial support fund for students experiencing financial difficulty.
• First year undergraduate students (Level 4), may also be eligible for the University of Hertfordshire bursary.
