Awards information and eligibility criteria
- The University’s Alumni Relations team will need to be able to verify that a nominee has completed a full award with a qualification (e.g. BA (Hons), MSc, PhD) from the University of Hertfordshire, or a predecessor institution before they can be considered for shortlisting.
- Each nominee will be notified of an award nomination and will have the option to opt out of being considered for shortlisting. Therefore, no posthumous awards will be made.
- As the nominator your details will remain anonymous but extracts from your nomination citation or supporting evidence may be used to highlight the finalist/winner and why they have won.
- Only one nomination from for each graduate you nominate will be put forward for shortlisting, so please do not nominate the same person more than once.
- There is no cash prize. Winners receive the accolade of being a Vice-Chancellor’s Alumni Award winner, a package of recognition, and an invitation to a prize winners’ celebratory event.
- Judging will be based on the information provided within the nomination.
- The judging panel will make the final decision on who will be awarded.
