Clinton-Baker Pinetum
The 4 hectare Pinetum contains over 150 species of conifers from all over the world. Plantings of conifers were started in 1767 by the Baker family, owners of the Bayfordbury Estate, and extended by the family (Baker and Clinton Baker) during the 19th century.
Restoration and conservation is now carried out by the Friends' Association, with over 200 members drawn from the local area and further afield in Hertfordshire. Find out more information on the history of the Clinton-Baker Pinetum at Bayfordbury.
