CIEA course endorsement programme
The CIEA’s external continuing professional development endorsement programme awards recognition for specified courses provided by approved organisations.
The rigorous application process for the endorsement of the provision of external organisation courses enables the CIEA to assure itself that the organisation has a consistent approach to the delivery of its courses and successfully achieves the required standard in the following areas:
- Background information of awarding organisation
- Rationale and demand
- The proposed provision
- Management of the course and assessments
- Physical resources for delivery
- Staffing resources and staff development
- Learning and teaching strategies
- Assessment
- Quality assurance
- Learner guidance and support
Courses that successfully achieve CIEA course endorsement can publicise and use the CIEA endorsed course logo on their course materials and marketing. Free CIEA Affiliate membership is given to all delegates enrolling on a CIEA endorsed course for the duration of the course.
