Book Launch - Unfinished business
Skilfully edited by David Cameron, Steve Munby and Mick Waters, the book contains contributions from numerous authors covering a wide range of topics including educational policy, accountability, curriculum, pedagogy and includes a chapter on making educational assessment fit for purpose by CIEA President Dr Mick Walker.
At the book launch in Birmingham a string of educationalists who had the pleasure of working with Tim spoke passionately about Tim as a person with great vision, humility and generosity of spirit and as a genuine champion of teachers, pupils and support staff.
Throughout the book, contributors draw inspiration from Tim’s work to offer advice and guidance on their various areas of expertise. It is full of ideas and insights that will inspire readers to continue the work to which Tim devoted his life.
Tim was a great supporter of the CIEA and the goal of a Chartered Educational Assessor in every school. He sadly passed in December 2023, but with advocates like David, Steve, Mick and the broad range of educationalists who have contributed to this book, his legacy looks set to go on.
