Curriculum and Assessment Review Paper
In September 2024, the UK government launched a review to improve the curriculum and assessment system for young people. Sylwia Holmes (Head of Education and Continuing Professional Learning, University of Hertfordshire), Alison McCree (former CIEA Director, University of Hertfordshire), Stuart Shaw (Chair of Chartered Institute of Educational Assessors), and Mick Walker (President of Chartered Institute of Educational Assessors) united in their quest to improve educational opportunity and fair assessment through a memorandum of understanding and currently in the process of developing a joint strategy to strengthen their work in the field of education and assessment through qualification design and delivery and research.
