College Lane

Our graduation celebrations will begin on our College Lane Campus in Hatfield. Please visit this page of our website for information about how to get to College Lane: by road, by bus, by train, by taxi.

If you are arriving by car, you can park in our multi-storey car park. Please note, overflow parking is available at our Park and Ride Park and Ride.

If you are a guest without a ticket, you can stay on College Lane and watch a livestream of the ceremony from the Chapman Lounge (located inside the main reception on campus).

If you are a guest with a ticket to enter St Albans Cathedral for the ceremony, you with then travel to St Albans for the ceremony.

Tickets will not be available for purchase on the day.

Ceremonies are livestreamed and can be watched live and downloaded afterwards.

During the Ceremony

Guest seating is unallocated and separate to the Graduate seating area.

Children must be attended by an adult at all times. Children must sit with an appropriate adult in the guest seating area.

We ask that guests please stay in their seats throughout the Ceremony, to be considerate of others around them. Please respect all the graduates by remaining silent throughout the Ceremony and applauding each graduate as they walk across the stage.

Luggage, pushchairs and car seats are not permitted inside the Cathedral as they pose a health and safety risk in the event of an evacuation. Due to the security risk, luggage must not be left unattended.

Timings on the Day

We have strict timings for the day that must be adhered to so that you can enjoy all activities on offer. Please carefully read out Helpful Timings for the Day.
