We welcome applicants from around the world and often accept local country qualifications in line with the course entry requirements. If you have qualifications from Brazil, we can review your eligibility for your programme of interest. Just send in copies of your academic transcripts and awards when you make your application. Our UK team can assist you with your application.

Regional qualifications and entry requirements

For the majority of our programmes, we typically accept the following qualifications from Brazil:

Foundation Certificade de Ensino Media results of 5.0/10.0 or A-C are suitable for entry. IELTS 4.5 with no less than 4.0 in any band.
Undergraduate (year 1)

Entry to year 1 requires completion of A-levels or IB. For details of required A-level/IB scores please refer to the individual course webpages.

Certificado de Ensino Medio with grades 8+ or Muito Bom, Excelente; or A or B; (post-1996);

OR

7 with Concurso de Vestibular (university entrance exam) with grade 5+ out of 10

OR

ENEM (Exame Nacional Do Ensino Medio) with grade 55% or higher with Concurso de Vestibular (university entrance exam) with grade 5+ out of 10.

IELTS 6.0 with no less than 5.5 in any band.
Pre-masters Completion of a 4 year bachelor's degree with less than 6.00/10.00.  IELTS 5.5  with no less than 5.5 in any band.
Postgraduate taught

Completion of a 4 year bachelor's degree with a minimum 6.00/10.00.

Bacharel (4 years) / Licenciado (4 years) / Titulo Profissional (5 years) with grade 6.0/10.0

IELTS 6.0 or 6.5 (depending on course) with no less than 5.5 in any band.
