We welcome applicants from around the world and often accept local country qualifications in line with the course entry requirements. If you have qualifications from Macau, we can review your eligibility for your programme of interest. Just send in copies of your academic transcripts and awards when you make your application. Alongside our UK team, we also have representatives in your country who can assist you with your application.

Regional qualifications and entry requirements
For the majority of our programmes, we typically accept the following qualifications from Macau:

| Undergraduate (year 1) | Certificado de Ensino Secundario Complementar with; Maths at 65% is required for all courses. | IELTS 6.0 with no less than 5.5 in any band. |
| Undergraduate (year 2/3) | There are no agreed progression routes, but if you're interested in applying to the University after part completion of a degree or completion of a diploma, applications will be individually assessed. | IELTS 6.0 with no less than 5.5 in any band. |
| Pre-masters | No agreed routes in place - please send in information about your qualifications when you apply and the Admissions Team will review on a case by case basis. | IELTS 5.5 with no less than 5.5 in any band. |
| Postgraduate taught | No agreed routes in place - please send in information about your qualifications when you apply and the Admissions Team will review on a case by case basis. | IELTS 6.0 or 6.5 (depending on course) with no less than 5.5 in any band. |
