We welcome applicants from around the world and often accept local country qualifications in line with the course entry requirements. If you have qualifications from Vietnam, we can review your eligibility for your programme of interest. Just send in copies of your academic transcripts and awards when you make your application. Alongside our UK team, we also have representatives in your country who can assist you with your application.

Regional qualifications and entry requirements

For the majority of our programmes, we typically accept the following qualifications from Vietnam:

Foundation Vietnamese 3-year Upper Secondary certificate with 6.5 out of 10. IFP English focus (IELTS 4.5, with no less than 4.0 in any band) and IFP Subject focus (IELTS 5.5 with no less than 4.0 in any band.
Undergraduate (year 1) A recognised foundation year in the relevant field
or 
The first year of study from a relevant course at a recognised Vietnamese University.
IELTS 6.0 with no less than 5.5 in any band.
Undergraduate (year 2/3) No agreed progression routes in place - if you apply to the University following part completion of a degree, or completion of a diploma, your application will be individually assessed. IELTS 6.0 with no less than 5.5 in any band.
Pre-masters Vietnamese 4-year Bachelor degree with less than GPA 6.5 out of 10. IELTS 5.5 with no less than 5.5 in any band.
Postgraduate taught Vietnamese 4-year Bachelor degree from a recognised university with a minimum GPA 6.5 out of 10 for a 2:2 requirement, and GPA 7.0 out of 10 for a 2:1 requirement. IELTS 6.0 or 6.5 (depending on course) with no less than 5.5 in any band.
