Car

A lot of students commute to campus by car and it’s easy to see why. Herts is so well connected via the M25 and Junction 3 on the A1(M).

Take advantage of the University’s park and ride service connecting both campuses. Located in Hatfield (AL10 8HS), there are 800 car park spaces available.

Blue Badge holders will be able to park on either campus. If using your satnav, use postcode AL10 9AB for College Lane campus or AL10 9EU for de Havilland campus.

If you don’t qualify for a Blue Badge, you may be able to apply for an extenuating circumstances permit. Perhaps you have young children or caring responsibilities. This will allow you to park at either campus but does not guarantee parking availability. For more information on arriving by car visit parking at Herts.

Visit the maps to plan your journey.

Bike

What better way to get around campus than with our free cycle hire scheme. With pick up points at both campuses and 12-hour loan period, it’s a great way to travel.

If you choose to bring your own bike to campus, feel free to secure it in one of our lockable bike shelters or bike racks.
