| Monday 6 January 2025 | Competition opens | Flare 2025 competition opens for entries |
| Friday 7 February 2025 | Round 1 entry deadline | Only eligible entries will be considered (subject to the terms and conditions). Round 1 entries must be submitted by 23:59. |
| Friday 21 February 2025 | Successful entrants notified | Round 1 results will be announced by email to all applicants. |
| Friday 11 April 2025 | Round 2 canvas deadline | Closing date for canvas submission. |
| Friday 9 May 2025 | Round 2 results announced | All successful applicants will need to confirm participation in the final and agree to attend all relevant support sessions to prepare for their finalist pitches. |
| To be confirmed June 2025 | People's Choice Awards open for voting | |
| Tuesday 10 June 2025 | Flare Finalists' Pitching Day | All finalists will need to be available on this date to pitch their business ideas to the judging panel. |
| Wednesday 25 June 2025 | All Finalists to attend lunchtime awards event | Finalists will be given an opportunity to network and promote their businesses to attendees. Prizes will be awarded after a buffet lunch and drinks reception |
