Both of our LRCs will remain open 24/7 over the Christmas and New Year break for students, staff, and SCONUL Access members. Please note:

  • Our on-site library and technical support will be unavailable during the University closure period (12:00 Tuesday 24 December to 08:00 Thursday 2 January)

Walk-in visitors:

Our LRCs are open for walk-in visitors aged 18 and is open over seven days a week.

  • Please see our visitor opening hours above
  • Both LRCs usually remain open to visitors throughout University closure days and bank holidays, but please check before travelling
  • We regret that unaccompanied visitors under the age of 18 are not currently permitted
  • Please bring a photo ID and sign in at the LRC security desk

Children in our LRCs

  • In order to access our LRC services, we recognise that at times it may be necessary for staff and students to bring children with them for a short period of time
  • Children must be supervised at all times and visits limited to approximately 30 minutes
