With major film and TV production studios such as Warner Bros. Studios Leavesdon, Pinewood Studios, and Elstree Studios just 45 minutes from our campus and London’s thriving creative industries just a short train ride away, students can take advantage of our fantastic location, stellar connections and brilliant industry opportunities while they study.

Our Film and Media degrees philosophy is to foster creativity and collaboration, and build relevant, specialist knowledge to make graduates stand out to industry professionals. This means our graduates don’t just leave us with a high-standard degree from a university known to deliver talent to the industry, but also with a network of professional connections ready to propel them onto the next step of their journey.

As well as this, our courses are recognised by professional awarding bodies such as Avid and ScreenSkills, which shows the calibre of the course and confirms the talent of our graduates to potential employers.

Learn the ropes in industry standard facilities

Our Film and Media degrees are based on our College Lane campus, with specialist course-specific facilities and equipment conveniently located within our creative village, which is made up of five different buildings housing state-of-the-art equipment and industry standard software.

The School of Creative Arts encourages experimentation and cross-collaboration, meaning that students on any course are free to use equipment and work with students from all other creative disciplines, allowing boundaries to be broken and ensuring creative visions are realised.

Innovation in practice

All courses on our Film and Media programme are cutting-edge, pioneering programmes which are constantly evolving and growing to ensure all teaching is aligned with the current and future industry’s needs.

Studying with us ensures not only a fantastic student experience, but also a springboard to a successful, diverse and adaptable future in the creative industries.
