Nursing courses
The School of Health and Social Work has a long-established reputation as a centre for excellence for healthcare education.

Whatever post-registration course you choose it will challenge you academically and provide you with a solid foundation in evidence-based practice. The key benefit of the post-registration courses is that you can still develop your skills and knowledge while continuing to work and earn.
Who are they for?
We have designed post-registration nursing courses both for those who have studied at diploma level or who haven't studied at all for some time.
They are suitable for a variety of qualified nurses and health professionals such as:

Practice placements
Every year of the programme, students undertake placements in nursing departments, as we believe that the best way to develop clinical skills and knowledge is by hands-on experience, gained by working in our partner practice placement hospitals.
We have a dedicated team that manages and supports practice placements. The team includes University lecturers and placement educators who work together and meet regularly to ensure that your clinical practice experience is of the highest quality.
