Postgraduate Medicine: Programmes and courses

Our emphasis is on developing professional attitudes together with a broad appreciation of different healthcare roles.

Students are actively supported by our academic staff, many of whom are leading professionals in their field. Several are practising healthcare professionals including pharmacists and medics; others have first-hand experience of industry, hospital and community practice.

Short courses

The University of Hertfordshire offers a number of courses that are relevant and open to health care professionals for continuing professional development. We offer both accredited and non-accredited short courses and individual modules from our MSc portfolio.

Our range of short courses has been designed for busy professionals who want to get an overview of different areas of clinical practice - without committing to studying a full programme. Short courses generally last between half a day and 5 days.
