UH Arts + Culture are delighted to host a guided tour of the University's public sculptures

This Guided Sculpture Walk, tailor-made for the Festival of Ideas, introduces you to 9 impressive outdoor sculptures that belong to the University’s permanent Art Collection.

Presenting a fascinating array of sculpture from the 1950s onwards, and featuring works by iconic names including Barbara Hepworth and Andy Goldsworthy, our Guided Sculpture Walk takes you on a tour of artistic ideas, methods and materials. The walk also provides a chance to get some fresh air and exercise whilst enjoying artworks and the green spaces of the campus.

Mapping the changing faces of British sculpture through time and space, the Sculpture Walk includes beautiful works that combine modern thinking with the majesty of nature from artists who will be both familiar and undiscovered. The tour, led by our knowledgeable Collection Team, will guide you through the sculpture collection and share the background and history of the art and its artists.
