Ian Hancock is Director of the Romani Archives and Documentation Center at The University of Texas at Austin, where he has been a professor of English, linguistics and Asian studies since 1972.

He was born in Britain and descends on his father's side from Hungarian Romungre Romanies and on his mother's side from English Romanichal Gypsies.

He has represented the Romani people at the United Nations and served as a member of the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Council under President Bill Clinton.

John Hare taught history at Peter Symonds College, Winchester, and has published extensively on various aspects of medieval economic, social and architectural history.

Margot Hillel, OAM, is Head of the School of Arts and Sciences, Australian Catholic University, Melbourne.

She has been President of the Children's Book Council of Australia and President of the Australasian Children's Literature Association for Research.

Judge of many literary awards, joint editor of three collections of short stories and joint compiler of a retrospective anthology celebrating fifty years of the Children's Book Council of Australia Book of the Year Awards, she has co-written several books about using literature with children, regularly publishes scholarly articles and reviews children's books in journals and on radio.

After careers in the Royal Navy and in industry, Fabian Hiscock added local history to his long-standing interest in the history of the waterways, completing his MA by Research in History at the University of Hertfordshire in 2016. He is also involved with the heritage education charity Rickmansworth Waterways Trust.

Barbara Hofmann-Johnson is director of the Museum für Photographie in Braunschweig.

Sarah Holland teaches History at the University of Nottingham and focuses on eighteenth to twentieth century British history, specialising in the study of rural communities and rural health histories.

Jonathan Holmes is a UK theatre director and writer. He taught drama at Royal Holloway, University of London for six years, leaving in 2007.
