Eileen Wallace is a qualified archivist and history teacher.

After working in Berkshire and Hertfordshire Record Offices, she became the archive-education officer for Hertfordshire Archives and Local Studies, enabling teachers and students of history to use original sources.

Since her retirement from full-time work she has been commissioned to make reports on the archives in museums in Essex and Hertfordshire and has given many talks throughout the county. She has lived in Hertfordshire for forty years.

Dr Jennifer Ward taught and researched medieval history at Goldsmiths College, University of London. Her research interests focus on medieval women and medieval Essex and East Anglia, and her recent publications include Women in Europe 1200-1500 (Routledge, 2nd edn, 2016).

Stephen V. Ward is Professor of Planning History at Oxford Brookes University. He is a former President of the International Planning History Society and was for several years Editor of the international academic journal, Planning Perspectives.

Stephen V. (Steve) Ward is widely known internationally for his work in the field of planning history. He is a former President of the International Planning History Society 1996-2002 and remains a member of its governing Council.

He is also a former editor of the refereed journal Planning Perspectives and continues as a member of its Editorial Board and is an Editorial Board member of the American refereed Journal of Planning History.

He is one (of three) Academic Editors of the Royal Town Planning Institute book series published by Routledge.

Over a career spanning more than 40 years, he has published extensively, mainly on historical matters relating to planning with many books, book chapters, articles and other outputs to his name. His works are widely cited by planning historians and others.

Anne Wares is a member of the St Albans and Hertfordshire Architectural and Archaeological Society. The Society was formed in 1845 to promote an interest in local history, and to encourage research and its publication.

Stuart Weinstein is Associate Head of the School of Law at the University of Hertfordshire, specialising in commercial, telecommunications and intellectual property law.

Neil Wiffen has an MA in Local and Regional History from the University of Essex and works for the Essex Record Office. He is also the Honorary Editor of the Essex Journal.

Charles Wild is Head of the School of Law at the University of Hertfordshire.

A specialist in company and commercial law, Dr Wild's publications include, with Stuart Weinstein, Smith & Keenan's Company Law (14th ed, Pearson, 2009) and Smith & Keenan's English Law (16th ed, Pearson, 2010) as well as contributions to Cybercrime & Security (Oxford University Press, 2008).

Tom Williamson is Professor of Landscape History at the University of East Anglia. He has written widely on landscape archaeology, agricultural history, and the history of landscape design.

He has extensive experience not only of archaeological and documentary research, but also of applying historical information in the conservation, restoration and interpretation of historic landscapes.

Tom has worked on numerous occasions on legal cases, providing reports in rights of way and boundary disputes, and appearing in court as an expert witness.
