He is Deputy Director of the Survey of English Place-Names, and the Survey's editor for Suffolk.

Plastow, Jenny
Dr Jenny Plastow teaches on EdD and MA programmes at the University of Hertfordshire and has published articles on primary teaching and literacy, and on Modernist Literature and gender studies.
She has worked extensively in practical theatre and Shakespeare, and writes stage and radio plays for children and adults.

Hugh Prince was Reader Emeritus and Honorary Research Fellow in the Department of Geography at University College London. He passed away in 2013.

Proctor, Edward
Edward Proctor has a background in South Asian studies and languages.
A diploma from the Central Institute of Hindi in New Delhi was followed by a BA in Anthropology from Duke University, an MA from the School of Oriental and African Studies at London University and further postgraduate study at the University of Chicago.
He also has a Masters in Library Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is currently an Electronic Resources Librarian and Associate Professor.
He speaks six different Gypsy dialects as well as several other languages.

Punter, Anne
Dr Anne Punter was the Head of Initial Teacher Education Development and Partnership in the School of Education at the University of Hertfordshire.
As such, she co-ordinated the training and assessment of trainee teachers on placements in schools, as well as facilitating the continuing professional development of many other qualified teachers.
