Chairs and Clerks of Validation and Review events

Chairs for validation, revalidation and major review  are nominated by Deans of School each year.  To be able to fulfil the role a prospective Chair will need to complete training, which consists of three parts: Part one and Part two are narrated PowerPoint presentations completed online. Part three is an individual or group session facilitated by a member of the The Centre for Education and Student Success (Academic Quality). Existing Chairs are encouraged to attend a workshop, held once or twice yearly, to stay up-to-date. Details of the workshops for new and existing Chairs can be found here:

All events are clerked by an Academic Services Officer (Academic Quality).
