Chairs and Clerks of Validation and Periodic Review events
Chairs for validation, revalidation and periodic review are nominated by Deans of School each year. To be able to fulfil the role a prospective Chair will need to complete training, which consists of three parts: Part one and Part two are narrated PowerPoint presentations completed online. Part three is an individual or group session facilitated by a member of the CAQA team. Existing Chairs are encouraged to attend a workshop, held once or twice yearly, to stay up-to-date. All events are clerked by an Academic Services Officer (Academic Quality Assurance).
